Located in the beautiful Wigan borough surrounded by parks, woodlands, and greenery, our Wigan home is also registered as a Nursing Home.
As a nursing home, Jah-Jireh Wigan cares for some of our residents who have physical disabilities and need specialised physical care. We have nurses on duty 24 hours a day along with a team of experienced carers, 40% of whom have been working with us for more than 5 years. The home has comfortable lounges overlooking well-tended gardens, providing residents a serene space to recuperate and receive visitors. The Butterfly Suite is a highlight providing extra care for those suffering from dementia.
A Bit of History
Our home in Wigan was purchased in 1995 and opened in 1996 after renovations were completed. The idea was for a home that would be able to take care of brothers and sisters who needed specific medical care in addition to the care provided by our other homes. In the Jah-Jireh Wigan home we care not only for the elderly, but also for some younger brothers and sisters who have physical disabilities.
