Convention Season!

Thanks to the provision of live streaming, many of our residents were able to enjoy watching their own convention programme from the comfort of their Jah-Jireh Home. In addition, the Homes also showed the recorded US convention programme, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the spiritual instruction at a time and pace that suited them.

Tracy, Activities Coordinator at our Wigan Home, told us that the residents there particularly enjoyed ‘The Good News According to Jesus’ video series, with the depiction of the Sermon on the Mount proving to be a firm favourite!

Several members of staff attended conventions in other locations so that they could continue caring for our residents during the local convention weekends.

Zoo Time

Residents of our Leyland Home enjoyed a wonderful day out at Blackpool Zoo!

They were delighted to see the zoo’s newest arrivals, including baby monkeys, three adorable lion cubs, and Rufus the orangutan - now a toddler! Even the famous Blackpool winds could not dampen their enthusiasm as they spent the day enjoying the animals and each other’s company.
