Although the home at Maryport is privately owned by a brother and sister, it operates under the auspices of Jah-Jireh Charity) Homes and follows and conforms to the same principles, practices and policies. It is overseen by faithful and committed brothers and sisters who maintain excellent standards and is a theocratic home of which to be proud.
It was purchased originally to care for just 3 residents and over the years has been developed until today it cares for 20 brothers and sisters. It has four cottages in the grounds which were purchased a few years ago to cater for those who are not yet ready for residential care. A great asset to the home is the fact that the local Kingdom Hall is directly at the rear of the home which makes easy access and facilitates all the meetings to be piped into the home for the benefit of those not able to attend.
